We admitted we were captivated by Dougray Scott.

Came to believe that Dougray's films could entertain us.

Made a decision to turn our movie-going dollars over to Dougray's movies.

Made a searching and fearless inventory of our Dougray film collection.

Admitted to family, friends, and to ourselves the exact nature of our admiration.

Were entirely ready to enjoy all aspects of our admiration for Dougray.

Humbly prevent ourselves from becoming obsessive over Dougray.  (We mustn't become dangerous!)

Made a list of all critics who have panned Dougray's performance (if any even exists!) and became willing to boycott them and whatever rag they are published in.

Made direct contact to those critics who have praised Dougray's performances and became willing to purchase the highly intellectual publications in which they are printed.

Continued to take inventory of our personal Dougray film collection and when we were missing something, promptly and legally purchased whatever we were missing.  (Don't forget, bootlegged films do impact Dougray's pocket - TV shows don't count.)

Sought through conscious effort to improve our appreciation of Dougray's talents without violating his privacy.

Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to Scottaholics, and to practice these principles in our devotion of the most talented actor, Dougray Scott!
