In respect for (US) Memorial Day tomorrow, no updates will be made to this site.

While my fellow countrymen and women enjoy this long holiday, I hope my fellow countrymen (or most likely countrywomen who visit this site) will take a few moments to reflect on why we have this 3-day weekend.

May God Bless those fallen heroes, past and present, who have given their all so that we, here in the US and our Allied members, can enjoy our freedom. Please remember, Freedom is NOT Free.

And on this Memorial Day I include my most beloved father who fought in WWII (please visit his Official U.S. WWII Honoree site) and who passed away in November 2003. My Dad's personal website is temporarily housed here.

Remember this article about the British gal who won the pants Dougray wore in M:I-2?  Well, it looks like she's auctioning them off on eBay (click here for the auction.)  I'm awaiting verification that this is in fact the same pair of pants, but for now - there it is, and buyer beware.

ABC and producer Robert Halmi Sr. have lined up an international cast led by Dougray Scott, Omar Sharif, Naveen Andrews, Mia Maestro and Linus Roache for "The Ten Commandments", a big-budget four-hour miniseries that retells the classic biblical tale of Moses. Read more here.

Dougray did a BBC Radio Scotland interview. It took place a week ago Friday, but Patty of DougrayScottUnplugged managed (after very great effort I might add), to capture it and was so sweet to send it HERE!  It's in MP3 format and is about 10 minutes long!!!

According to the Daily Record (UK), Dougray is set to star as Moses in a new Hallmark 4 hour mini-series, "The Ten Commandments". The two-part epic, which will rely on extensive biblical and historical research to present the story of "Exodus" and an authentic portrayal of 13th century B.C. Egypt, will be executive-produced by Robert Halmi, Sr.

"Our portrayal of the story of Moses and the Ten Commandments is meant to be a dramatic, inspirational interpretation," said Halmi. "I strongly feel that this biblical tale should be revisited for the younger generation, as they must realize the importance and consequences of the Ten Commandments." In addition to depicting the emotional power of the story, the miniseries will use today's technology to recreate the spectacle of biblical miracles in amazing Halmi-style.

Omar Sharif is reported to play the role of Moses's father-in-law, Jethro. The mini-series is set to air on ABC-TV.  Date to be announced.

The bosses at Touchstone Pictures' are so impressed with Dark Water, that they decided to move up the US release date to July 8, 2005!
