Well, it looks like Dougray was a no-show at the BAFTAs.

The British Academy Film Awards are the UK's equivalent to the American Academy Awards and the next big indicator of who is leading the Oscar race. Hosted by multi-talented British actor, author and comedian Stephen Fry, the award ceremony will take place at the Odeon, Leicester Square, London, Sunday February 23, 2003. There's no word yet as to if Dougray will be attending, but you never know. UK fans can watch the awards show on BBC One. American fans can Watch this star studded awards ceremony exclusively on BBC America - LIVE and COMMERCIAL FREE on Sunday, February 23rd at 4pm ET, 1pm PT, with a repeat showing on Thursday, February 27th at 8 and 11pm ET, 5 and 8pm PT.

Photo Gallery Dougray accepted the Best Actor Award on behalf of Tom Cruise at the
Empire Awards. (Tom is in New Zealand filming The Last Samurai.)
Dougray had this to say before a video of Tom's acceptance speech was
shown: "I was going to try and pretend to be
Tom Cruise and walk away with the award but knew that was never going to
work because he's much, much taller than me. Tom's very, very sorry he's
not been able to be here because he's been playing with his very large
sword in New Zealand." Don't you just love his sense of
