When 14 year old amateur astronomer Leo Beiderman
discovers a new comet, he has no idea as to the impact his
discovery will have on him, his family, and the entire world.
When he submits his find to Dr. Marcus Wolf, the
scientist verifies the discovery along with something far more
important...the comet, |
now called Wolf-Beiderman is on
deadly collision course with Earth.

| Aspiring newswoman Jenny Lerner thinks she has a
lead on a Washington sex scandal only to find out that
"Ellie" the woman supposedly implicated is actually
E.L.E. which stands for Extinction
Level Event.
Armed with this information, Jenny scoops her colleagues
and moves up to anchor-

President Beck announces a joint plan with the
Russians to launch the new and improved space ship Messiah in
hopes of diverting the comet's course away from Earth.
As a backup, he also reveals the creation underground
shelters in the soft limestone hills of Missouri, which
will become an 'ark' |
for a million Americans should the
Messiah's mission fail.

| The international crew of the Messiah lands on
comet Wolf-Beiderman's surface where they implant nuclear
warheads. The effort fails, and leaves the comet split
into two lethal pieces still hurtling towards Earth.
The smaller of the two comets, now simply called
Beiderman, is projected to impact in the Atlantic ocean, causing
tidal waves as |

high as a thousand feet and reaching
over 600 miles inland. The larger and more deadly
fragment, Wolf, is expected to hit western Canada - causing an
global extinction level event.

Veteran astronaut, Captain Spurgeon
"Fish" Tanner has a plan which may destroy the larger
comet, but at what cost? And what about the smaller
Beiderman still speeding toward earth?
