It was so silly

Wife Sarah tells truth of Dougray's 'affair' with
Kate
THE wife of actor Dougray Scott has revealed how
she coped with vicious rumours her hubby was having an affair with
Kate Winslet.
But the casting director admitted she had been
wrong to miss the premiere of Enigma, in Edinburgh, which starred
Dougray and Kate.
Sarah, 38, who could not go because of work,
said: "We should have been wiser.
"I'm very fond of Kate. I didn't think
people would put two and two together and make five.
"The trouble was, nobody reported that
Dougray's mum was there - they said he was on his own. It was so
silly."
Reporters besieged Sarah at the home in West
London she shares with Dougray and their twins Eden and Gabriel,
three.
She said: "I found it hard when people tried
to take pictures of me across the park with my children. Everything
that was said was made up. It was reported Dougray had arrived back at
the house in the morning but he was upstairs in bed.
"They said he sent me flowers - I'd bought
them myself."
Then, 10 days later, Sarah pulled away from
Dougray, 38, when he tried to kiss her at the London premiere of
Enigma.
She insisted: "I'm just not used to kissing
my husband in front of 76 photographers.
"I don't do a Liz Hurley because I'd rather the limelight fell
on him."
