Dougray - Easter Road IS MA BOULEVARD
by Beezer
Dougray Scott certainly noised up the Jambos yesterday at half
time when he made the Happy Hibby Half Time Draw on the pitch at the
interval (scoreline then 2-0). Afterwards he gave an interview to
Jonathon Watson - or was it Chick Young haw haw haw haw! - in which he
delivered the LINE OF HIS LIFE. Give the man an award...
Enigma superstar, Dougray Scott, might mix with Tam Cruise and Kate
Winslett but it is the surroundings of home and the entertainment of
ULISES de la Cruz which he is more comfortable with.
The Glenrothes actor is a lifelong Hibby and continues to follow the
side whenever filming schedules allow - making sure he stops off en
route to Easter Road to have a roll and sausage from the cafe in Albion
Road and a a mug of coffee to settle his belly before kick off.
Yesterday, he was called upon to make the half time Youth draw and in
doing so played to the audience in fine style - noising up the Jambos in
the process. Last week Man Utd had FOSTER AND ALLEN - yes I kid you not
- make their half time draw on the pitch at Old Trafford. Exciting
stuff... some weeks I believe they even have Eamonn Holmes, b'gad!
Us? We just have the odd Hollywood star of the silver screen...
After the draw was made, haw haw haw!, Chick Young couldnae resist a wee
bit of slavering sycophantically over our man. With his daft earphones
over his baldie heid and big fluffy microphone under Dougray's chin, the
man from the Beeb asked
"Dougray! What are you doing here on a wet, miserable Sunday
afternoon when you could be on Hollywood Boulevard?!"
Then with Oscar-merited one liner delivery, the answer comes back
"THIS IS MA BOULEVARD, CHICK!"
Beezer.
