TIM ROTH, who is in negotiations to play Oliver Cromwell opposite Dougray Scott's Thomas Fairfax in Mike Barker's film Fairfax And Cromwell, which should start shooting early in the New Year. The film looks at the pair after they had won the Civil War, and how they clashed over how to run Britain and what to do with Charles I. Mr Scott can currently be seen in Michael Apted's wartime thriller Enigma, while Tim Roth is in Tim Burton's Planet Of The Apes.
