DRIVING FORCE: Dougray Scott was guest of honour at the charity golf match

MOVIE idol Dougray Scott teed off at Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club in Kirknewton to help raise funds for the homeless at Shelter Scotland’s Bishop Loch and Laing O’Rourke Tournament.

Scott was in the Capital last year when the Edinburgh International Film Festival hosted the UK premiere of Second World War thriller Enigma at the city’s Odeon Cinema. Co-stars Kate Winslet and Saffron Burrows also attended the gala screening, which was followed by a lavish party at the Royal Museum in Chambers Street.

Fife-born Scott played the lead character in the film about a brilliant mathematician who cracked the Nazis’ wartime code.
