An Anglo-American production of the classic 1001 Nights tale in which the Sultan of Baghdad's
new wife Sheherazade (Mili Avital, pictured above with Dougray Scott as the Sultan) must spin
a series of enchanting stories in order to stop her husband from having her executed. The all-star
cast includes Jason Scott Lee, Alan Bates, Rufus Sewell and violinist Vanessa Mae in her first
dramatic role.
