NEW YORK (AP) -- Mili Avital says playing "horsie'' to film one scene for ABC's upcoming "Arabian Nights'' made her feel like a six-year-old.

Avital, who plays Scheherezade, was filming a scene on horseback when her steed ran off -- with her on it.  "The producer said, 'There's no way. You can't get on that horse,'' she told TV Guide in its April 29 issue.

So the stunt coordinator decided to fill in as her mount, asking her to sit on his shoulders and having the camera showing her only from the waist up.

"It was embarrassing,'' said Avital, who made appearances in "Kissing A Fool'' and "Polish Wedding.''  "It is a reminder that this is such a silly business.''

The mini series "Arabian Nights'' debuts April 30.
