Past
Born in St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland, in 1965, Dougray Scott
decided to become an actor at the age of 14 when he auditioned
for a part in the Arthur Miller play Death Of A Salesman.
He got his first big break at the age of 31, when he appeared in
the Wales-based movie, Twin Town. Because of the
delayed |
| scheduling of his role in Mission:
Impossible 2, he was forced to withdraw from the movie X-Men. |
Present He has
currently finished shooting his first lead role in the wartime thriller
Enigma. Other movies, including Cromwell and Fairfax, are in the
pipeline. When he isn't busy filming, his schedule is kept full by
being the father of twins.
Hear, Hear "I
remember the first day of filming Mission: Impossible 2. Tom
Cruise jumps in the air and he comes down and smacks me right in the
jaw. I turned around and was thinking unkind thoughts about him.
Mind you, the opening climbing sequence he did is extraordinary.
Would I do that? No. I'm not mad like Tom is. He's
crazy."
