'Cromwell' back in prod'n
by Adam Dawtrey

LONDON -- Mike Barker's "Cromwell and Fairfax" is officially back on track.

The $20 million period drama, which was forced to suspend production in mid-February when its coin fell apart, has now been fully refinanced and has started shooting again.

All the principal cast, including Dougray Scott, Tim Roth, Rupert Everett and Olivia Williams, have accepted deferments totaling several million dollars.

As previously reported, HanWay has replaced IAC Film as the pic's sales company, with gap and collateral financing from DZ Bank. London-based financier Visionview has brokered a substantial equity investment from Rockwood Edge Ltd.

Other backers include Future Film Group and Screenland Movieworld.
