by Scott Hussey
A HOST of famous Scots will attend the most
star-studded Burns' Night bash in history this week.
Hollywood heart-throb Ewan McGregor and Texas
singer Sharleen Spiteri are hosting the traditional gathering.
The pair have invited their showbiz pals to the
bash in London on Wednesday.
They hope to raise thousands of pounds for two
Scots kids' charities - Rachel House hospice and Sarjent Cancer Care.
Tickets for the £100-a-head event were snapped
up within days.
Actors Dougray Scott, Robert Carlyle and Denis
Lawson are among the supper guests.
Other diners include author Irvine Welsh, film
director Bill Forsyth, TV presenter Richard Jobson, and fashion
designers Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney.
Guests will bid in a luxury raffle for a stay at
the Carnegie Club, Skibo Castle and a kilt designed by Mr McQueen.
