Off the record: Stars in Burns booster

A HOST of Scots celebs, including film stars and pop idols ,will
gather this week for a mega Burns Night bash.
Ewan McGregor and Texas singer Sharleen have organised the
traditional gathering for Scots charities, and have invited showbiz
friends.
Tickets for the pounds 100-a-head event were snapped up by stars
including MI:2 actor Dougray Scott.
James Bond baddie Robert Carlyle will attend, along with his wife
Anastasia, as well as Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh.
One Foot In The Grave star Richard Wilson is also expected to
appear along with film director Bill Forsyth and TV's Richard Jobson.
Actor Dennis Lawson, who appeared in Star Wars, will also be in
attendance, as will fashion designers Alexander McQueen and Stella
McCartney.
Proceeds from the event, to be held in London on Friday, will go to
Rachel House children's hospice and Sarjent Cancer Care. So far 200
tickets, sent personally by Ewan and Sharleen, have been sold.
