SCOTS film stars Dougray Scott and Ewan McGregor have been voted the big screen's top pin-ups by movie buffs.

Fife-born Dougray comes out first in a list of the ten most handsome actors. The 35-year-old from Glenrothes beat off stiff competition from Hollywood heartthrobs like Tom Cruise and Ben Affleck to top the poll on movie website www.imdb.com.

The result will come as no surprise to Dougray's pals - at school he was dubbed Bonnie Prince Charlie because his good looks left girls swooning.

Second place went to Ewan, born just 30 miles away in Crieff, Perthshire.

It's a step up for the 30-year-old Moulin Rouge star - he came fourth in a magazine poll of Britain's sexiest stars last year.

An IMDB spokesman said: "It's remarkable that two Scots born so close to each other should have been voted first and second in a worldwide poll.

"But they're both very big names now."
